Call for Applications: 2026 Fulbright Teaching Excellent and Achievement (TEA) Program

The Thailand– United States Educational Foundation (Fulbright Thailand) announces its annual competition for the Fulbright awards under the Teaching Excellence and Achievement Program (TEA). Four(4) grants are available for Thailand, and the grant period for Fall 2026: Cohort II starts in September - October 2026. The program will provide approximately 168 fellowships to international secondary school teachers of English, English as a Foreign Language, foreign languages (including the Thai language), math, science, and social studies, including special education teachers in those subjects, at a U.S. university. The six-week program will consist of academic seminars focusing on new teaching methodologies, curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional technology training. Intensive English language instruction will be offered to teachers who need additional practice. The program will include a practicum of at least 40 hours with a U.S. partner teacher in a U.S. secondary school near the host university to actively engage participants in the U.S. classroom environment. Participants will be provided cultural enrichment, mentoring, and support throughout the program.
